Where talent meets its summit
Apex Talent Foundation is an education foundation building a system to identify and develop able students in the sciences.
Why
Imagine cracking a problem nobody else in your class even understood — and having no one to show it to.
That is life for most able children in Ukraine. Maths olympiads find around 5,000 of them every year, and fewer than 1,000 go on to advanced training. The rest go back to their classrooms, and to a curriculum that was not built for them.
We bring them together — and it turns out that harder means more interesting, not more frightening.
What we do
⚡ Apex XY Programme — for grades 8–9: three months of olympiad mathematics, English and North Star.
⛺ Apex XY Camp — a week in the mountains for the students who worked hardest.
🎓 Apex Summer School for Teachers — free olympiad-maths training for teachers from the regions.
🧩 Apex Minds — an open, free bank of olympiad problems in Ukrainian.
Who it is for
🤓 Students in grades 8–9 who stay with a problem longer than they need to, because it is interesting.
👩🏫 Teachers who lack the community, not the will.
🤝 Partners who want this system to exist in their own region.
🇺🇦 The country — the generation of scientists and entrepreneurs it will need in ten years and does not have yet. Today they are in eighth grade.
Our values
The will to learn. Learning is hard, and we do not pretend otherwise. Here it will be hard and interesting at the same time.
Community. Every summit is easier to reach together.
Continuity. Not one-off events, but programmes that run for years.
Where you were born should not decide your future. Students from the regions, and girls, are genuinely in every cohort — not just in the annual report.
Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not.
