Who it is for

The camp follows on from the Apex XY Programme. There is no separate application: places go to the students who worked hardest across the three months. Want the mountains? Apply to the programme.

How it went in 2026

8–16 August, at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv and in Slavske in the Carpathians.

How the week went

The day began with a warm-up, then classes morning and afternoon.

  • A week of combinatorics
  • Two written olympiads and two maths battles
  • An oral olympiad: you hear the problem, hold the solution in your head and give it aloud
  • 14 problems defended aloud to a teacher
  • A lecture by Ihor Sokolov — why we need mathematics, and how to predict the future

Beyond the classes: the UCU campus, the Lviv Organ Hall, a hike in the mountains and a bonfire.
