Email info@apex-talent.org about anything on this page, and a person will answer.

No cookies. No advertising tags, and no third-party scripts that follow you from one site to another.

We do count visits, using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It records which page was opened, the site you arrived from if there was one, your country, and your browser and device type. It sets no cookies, keeps nothing on your device, and builds no profile of you — we see totals, never a person. We use it for one thing: to find out where people give up on the application form, so we can fix whatever is in their way.

Two things are kept in your own browser, and neither is ever sent to us:

• Your application draft. While you fill in the form, your answers are saved on your device so that closing the tab does not lose them. They stay for up to 90 days, or until the deadline passes, whichever comes first — and the form has a button that deletes them straight away.
• Whether you dismissed the deadline bar. Forgotten when you close the tab.

Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs — your IP address, the time, and which page you asked for — for security and reliability.

These pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and the page that asked for them. Nothing else about you.

The counting script described above is fetched from Cloudflare, so Cloudflare receives your IP address with that request in the same way. It is not shown to us.

The application form asks for your name, email, phone or Telegram and a link to a social profile; your age, grade, region, town and school; an email and phone number for a parent or guardian; your olympiad history and results; written answers about your motivation, your aims and your English; how you heard about us; and your confirmation that a parent or guardian has seen the form and agrees to it.

When you send it, your answers go to a Google Apps Script that the foundation owns. That script writes them into a Google Sheet the foundation owns, and sends you one confirmation email. They go nowhere else.

Only the Apex Talent selection team can see them, and only for selection.

Most applicants are 13 to 15 years old. That is why the form asks you to confirm that a parent or guardian has seen it and agrees: your consent on its own would not be enough, and we would rather ask plainly than bury it in small print.

We publish how well the programme works and let other people check our figures. Anything given to researchers is anonymised first: names, contact details, schools and anything else that could identify you are removed before it leaves us.

For the selection round you applied in, and for as long as you take part in a programme afterwards. After that we keep only what our reporting obligations as a registered charity require. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

You may ask to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Under the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" these are your rights, not favours. Email info@apex-talent.org.

Access to applications is limited to the members of the selection team who need it. The sheet is not public. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for commercial purposes.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the new version applies from the day it appears here.
